What Time Left Behind

A broken workshop window set into weathered brickwork in Old Town Poole.

The cracked panes, old timber and creeping plants looked as though they had been left to tell their own version of the building’s history. I kept the frame tight and slightly off centre so the brickwork could remain part of the subject. Black and white brought out every damaged surface without the colour competing for attention.
